Crosby Conservative Club on it's way out of Crosby

It was reported last night that The Crosby Conservative Club has now officially changed it's name to Crosby Village Social Club, after the membership voted to pull out of the Conservative Association.

Your Manor FOCUS Team reported in January about former Lib Dem Councillor, Jack Colbert (pictured right, thanks to Birkdale), becoming Chairman of Crosby's Conservative Club. - much to the displeasure of one local Tory councillor. Best of luck to the new committee at the Club; Jack's cheeky one liner in the New Year may now be more correct than he realised: “I only go for three reasons; because there’s cheap ale, good snooker tables and no Conservatives!”
